Partying, Erotic style!

There can't be many Christmas parties that involve conversations about swinging.

Or maybe there are.

Perhaps its just the world I live in. It seems perfectly normal to me to be at a Christmas party where there is a gorgeous naked woman in the corner of the room being adorned in a very festive way by a male artist and his palette of paints. As the party wore on, she gained more clothes. Well, technically, they weren't ACTUALLY clothes, but they LOOKED like they were. The pretty red bra, complete with lace. The red knickers to match. The red stockings, and the red suspenders. She CERTAINLY LOOKED dressed at the end of it, even though she was as naked as she'd started the afternoon. It was fun though, as her outfit progressed, and the men stood around watching..... there's something about stockings and suspenders that brings out the men, everytime!!!! LOL

And then there was the singing. Very festive again, with the snow and Christmas presents themes. All very jolly, and a good start to the proceedings, it warmed us all up, and made us think of loved ones, and what we'd like to give them for Christmas.......... and yes, you can be as rude as you like with THAT thought!!!!

There was the swopping of actual presents, and cards, kisses, and hugs, new friends made, and old ones valued. Smiling faces, and laughter. The Christmas tree lights glowed red and pretty and everyone was in a good mood.

The wine flowed.

The conversation flowed.

But the most interesting conversation for me was the one that involved parties that other people had attended. More......intimate parties. With like minded people. People who like to watch. People who like to see. People who like to participate. And maybe..................play a little..................with others.......................And then of course there were the other stories that went with it. The amusing anecdotes. Especially the one that involved a guy.........who had been purchased..................for a whole weekend...........to.................er...............pleasure the lady.......................who had bought him....................whilst her husband..............................watched. The husband had purchased a massive bag of viagra. The guy who had been bought was worried.............................very worried.........................and that can't be good for his.................er.......................morale!!!!! I wonder how it all went............................. Tee Hee!!!!!

Erotic Art Auction

Right - now on to the Art Auction I promised you the other day. We'll start with three erotic drawings. All of them are white conte pencil on plain black card. They all pick up the light on the models skin whilst leaving the rest of the image in darkness. They are all unmounted and unframed. I think that they would look equally appealing in a pale or silver frame, without a mount, or, if you prefer, a pale cream mount with a black frame would look stylish, or any other frame that fits in with your colour scheme would enhance them.

The first one is called "Remembering the day" and is 15 x 11 inches. I think its quite poignant, the woman is sitting upright in her underwear, just about to remove her stockings and suspenders, and she turns her head as she gazes off into the middle distance as she remembers the day - was it with her lover? That's for you to decide........

The second drawing is 14 x 10 inches and is called "And then" and shows a woman in a state of arousal - the erect nipples illustrate that. Her left hand reaches around to the front of her body - is it about to go higher..... or lower? And the other hand is behind her back - does it hold something that the viewer can't yet see? What could it be? The viewer can't quite read the expression on her face, is she being coy? Its for you to decide what happens next, but it looks like it might be fun.....

The third drawing is called "Dressing" and is 16 x 11 inches. The woman in it is busy putting on her stockings, she rolls them up her leg, her face hidden by her long hair. Her breast not yet covered by her clothing. Who is she dressing for? Herself? or her lover?
So, now, if you are interesting in making a bid for any (or all) of the drawings, email me at jackieadshead@btinternet.com stating which image and your bid. I will accept bids in English pounds (which is probably good for everyone else in the world at the moment, the way the pound is!). The deadline is midnight on Wednesday 28th January- so you've got a week to think about it and make your bid. Whoever is the highest bidder for any of the images, will receive it by post. I will pay the postage. There is a (reasonable) reserve on all the drawings, and if that reserve is not reached, then there will not be a sale. Once a bid has been accepted, I will require payment for it - by Paypal preferably, or a cheque. Once the payment has cleared, I will send the artwork to you.
Any questions, please ask.
Right, its up to you now..... who will start the bidding?

The pull of art

Like the other bloggers, I was touched that Cherrie and Hardin could find time to see me during their short stop-over in England, but I have known for some time that they admire my artwork on many levels, and wanted to see my paintings for real rather than just on the internet, and ask various pertinent questions regarding the creative process and see some of the end results. Plus, what a wonderful opportunity for Cherrie to sit for me, so that I could draw her!

They patiently listened whilst I showed them my vanilla artwork, the landscapes and tigers, surreal and fantasy paintings and I was amazed at how easily they understood some of the concepts I had for some of my more surreal paintings, and could relate to the ideas behind them. They liked the different art techniques I utilise and listened to me explaining how I had created my paintings. After that, and since I still had their interest, we moved on to the erotic artwork, and went through my many varied drawings on that subject, Cherrie in particular making comments relating to some of the poses I had done, and what other ideas I could draw in the future. I'm always interested in other peoples ideas, especially when they are so helpful.

After a short break, Cherrie said she was ready to pose for me. And, what a delightful subject she is to paint, too! Since any readers of her blog will know that she loves to pose for the camera and even though I had a basic idea for the image, I didn't need her to ask how she should arrange herself, she just went naturally into the pose, and all I had to do was sit and draw her! Such an easy model. Obviously, she needs to keep her facial features a secret, so the painting I have done is not a portrait of her as such, but the arched eyebrow and wide smiling mouth are the essence of her, and sufficient to depict her. I knew I wanted to paint such a voluptuous woman in something equally voluptuous, so asked if she'd be happy wearing a fur coat, with a pair of fishnet stockings and black suspenders on underneath, as any other clothes were deemed unnecessary. The fur coat opened beautifully to show her many feminine assets as she lay back in the pose. She was happy with the idea (and before anyone complains, the coat is old, and not real fur, so no fluffy animals were hurt in the making of this blog). I decided to paint her in watercolour as it gave me instant colour which is what I felt I needed for this picture. So after drawing out the outline, I opted for a lovely gold and scarlet background which seemed apt for the subject matter. The use of splatter in the paint adds movement to the figure, and the lovely golden browns of the fur beautifully framed the paler feminine skin beneath it. The fishnet stockings were always going to be difficult to paint, and if I had drawn in each line the picture would have looked heavy and overworked, so I quickly and lightly drew in the black lines with a fine nibbed pen, making sure I left the viewers eye to fill in where the lines don't quite cross over, making the painting far more interesting for it. The burnt sienna I used for her hair also mirrored the colours of the coat and the slash of bright red lipstick at the mouth makes the viewer instantly aware of the woman being confident and alluring and offering an invitation to the viewer. I couldn't help but laugh at the title I have for this painting, as it was so very, deliciously apt!! Its called "Fur coat and no knickers" which is obviously a very English phrase as I had to explain it to the blank look of the American visitors! - it basically refers to a woman with airs and graces, but no real class. Its certainly a sexy picture, and I am delighted with it, but then I had a good model!

We talked also of the Pussy portraits set of paintings that I'm planning on doing, and still in the first stages of working on. Cherrie and Hardin were most interested in the idea. They viewed the first one that I am still currently working on, and still mentally working through the concept of, admiring the strong layout of design and the bright colours I have chosen for this particular painting, so far. They hope that I could get the exhibition to show in the US as well as in England - a wonderful idea, when I've got my collection of them all together.
So, all in all, a very artistically productive visit, and I hope they enjoyed their visit to England to get a glimpse of the English way of life.

Scarlet woman

After various conversations this week regarding stockings and suspenders, I thought it might be a nice idea to do an erotic drawing of some! I'm half happy with the image.... for me it needs more dramatic darks in it to give the lost and found edges that I love in a drawing, which make the image settle more into the background. But this was just an exercise in an erotic drawing more than anything else. I did it with a water soluble black pen and neocolor water soluble wax pastels, which entailed putting the pen and pastels dry onto the paper, then using clear water brushed over them to mix the colours and add shading where necessary. I think I might to it again at some point, perhaps in dry pastel on black paper, creating the mid-tones and high- lights or maybe even on scarlet paper putting in the darks and lights with conte pencil. I've called the drawing "dressed to thrill" and its up to the viewer to decide whether she's dressing in anticipation of going out to meet a lover, or undressing in front of the lover......

I wanna paint how he sounds!

I went to see Bryan Adams in concert last night, for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed the show. He was totally..... awesome!!! Not only was it the sort of loud raunchy rock that I love, which instantly gets people on to their feet to dance and sing along, but it was strong clear music and simple but effective lyrics. I also loved the total rapport he had with the audience. He was happy to walk among them shaking hands, and making contact, to mix with them and interact, totally in-tune with them, to invite members of the audience on stage to perform with him, for the whole audience to sing his words back to him, to encourage and enhance and include as part of his entertainment. And it got me thinking........ that I want to paint how he sounds...... that instant heart racing, blood pumping reaction to the raunchy feel to his work, that feeling that emotionally moves people, that strong effective interaction with the viewer, the outpourings of gutsy, gritty work involving soft quiet passages as a beautiful poignant contrast to the powerful, brightly colourful vibrant parts, that connection in a sexually basic way but also empathy with peoples more caring, loving experiences and how they feel enhanced after viewing the creativity, leaving them wanting more.

On recently having a very interesting, and sexy, conversation with a male friend about the erotic delights and merits of stockings I decided to explore the contrast between male and female clothing this week. So I dressed my model in a plain white mans shirt, undone to the waist, and just a pair of black stockings and suspenders underneath, leaving the shirt to partly hide her breasts, but leaving the shirt tail to curl around and point to her exposed crotch. One hand in a slightly mannish pose, resting on her knee, and the black stockings a delightful contrast to her pale skin. I created the drawing with a black watercolour-wash pen, adding the softer tones and background by washing water over the ink and used a white crayon for the shirt. I like using just three tones of white, black and pale ochre, the latter utilised just by leaving the paper as the mid tone.
